ATTENTION ALL FIENDS IN SOUTH AMERICA!

After wrapping up a highly successful run on Van's Warped Tour celebrating 25 years of classic punk rock, Jerry Only and special guests Marky Ramone of the world famous Ramones and Robo & Dez from Black Flag will head out to Argentina, Chile and Brazil THIS WEEK for a series of special Misfits 25th Anniversary shows starting JULY 26th 2001! Fiends in Argentina should also be on the lookout for an interview and live in studio performance on Much Music.

As was the case with the Virgin Megastore appearance and the recent appearance on the Warped Tour, Doyle will be unable to attend. We're sure that most fiends will understand this is a very private and personal matter. Under the extreme circumstances Doyle has authorized Misfits.com to issue the following statement on his behalf:

"I'm going through a divorce and I have to take time off to deal with family issues and straighten out my personal life. Right now, this is a priority for me." - Doyle.

No more will be said on the matter except that we all wish Doyle the best of luck and hope you fiends understand that we must respect his right to privacy.

Two additional shows will be held in the U.S. in August. The first headlining Riverfront Rampage a festival in honor of WSOU's 15th Anniversary and the other in conjunction with Magic con in VEGAS and openers Channel 3. The special guest M25 lineup will even be hitting JAPAN in SEPTEMBER! More news coming soon.

The first dates of the upcoming Halloween tour have been announced. Tickets for the October 11th Chicago HOUSE OF BLUES show are ON SALE NOW through ticketmaster. For fiends on the east cost, the Misfits HALLOWEEN SHOW & AFTER PARTY will be held at the WWF NY at Times Square on OCT. 31st. Tickets are on sale now through ticketmaster and the WWF NY/THE WORLD BOX OFFICE located across the street from the VIRGIN MEGASTORE. Come in costume and get those tickets early fiends! You have been warned, it will be a night to remember....
